Diamond

Fisher Stevens’ tribute act to Neil Diamond will benefit Winchester Hospice in a special event this April.

Hosted at the Theater Royal, Winchester, ‘A Beautiful Noise’ will light up the stage on April 19 at 7.30pm.

Featuring live music, dancing, and classic hits like Sweet Carolinethe production promises to dazzle while supporting a noble cause.

This fundraiser is part of a series of performances at various venues across the country, revisiting over 50 years of music.

Fisher Stevens said: “The idea of playing a fundraiser for Winchester Hospice was the brainchild of our tour manager, David Extance. David witnessed first-hand the tremendous work of all the staff at the hospice, but he expressed ‘how it made him feel ‘ with the warmth, love, support but most importantly the humor that kept his family going through such a difficult time, and the idea of a fundraiser was always in his thoughts.

“After I personally visited the hospice, I too, from walking through the door had this overwhelming sense of peace and love, and a sudden feeling of togetherness bonded with hugs and compassion. I felt totally honored to bring ‘It’s a Beautiful Noise’ to Winchester’s Theater Royal to help raise much-needed funds for the work that this special place creates. We look forward to seeing you all to support this wonderful event.”

Donna Coombs, clinical matron at Winchester Hospice, said: “We are so touched that Fisher has been chosen to do a one-off fundraiser especially for Winchester Hospice – it’s absolutely fantastic.

“Our hospice needs continuous support through fundraising so we are truly grateful for such generosity and kindness.”
