Laguna Beach, Calif.-based jewelry brand gorjana is expanding with a second Long Island store.
The retailer will open a 1,308-square-foot location at Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington Station on Monday, March 25. The new store follows the chain’s first Long Island shop that opened in Southampton last spring.
“Long Island has been an incredible home for us since we opened our Southampton storefront last May,” Gorjana Reidel, the brand’s co-founder, said in a company statement. “Walt Whitman Shops is known for its curated, upscale shopping experience, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring our effortless style to the laidback Huntington community just in time for spring.”
Offerings at gorjana include its exclusive designs of necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings featuring gold, diamonds, opals, sapphires and more.
“We are thrilled to welcome Gorjana to Walt Whitman Shops’ selection of coveted, curated brands, and are excited for our shoppers to embrace Gorjana’s unique, personalized shopping experience, a service that the Walt Whitman shopper can truly appreciate,” Maria Cavanagh, director of Marketing and Business Development at Walt Whitman Shops, said in the statement.
Founded in 2004, gorjana now has more than 65 locations throughout the US From its beginnings, the brand has worked with non-profit organizations that support women and children through annual partnerships with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Baby2Baby, Toys for Tots, Dress for Success and others, according to the statement. The company is currently accepting donation requests from non-profit organizations in Huntington and greater Long Island to support the local community.
